The White Buffalo is described with words like folk, blues and Americana. He’s not often, if ever, accused of being a goth, and yet his dark, storytelling song craft manages to be more haunting and bleak than any eyeliner-abusing, black-leather-jacket-wearing sad boy could ever hope to be. His cinematic musical tales have been noticed in Hollywood and his tunes pop up frequently in shows like Sons of Anarchy, This Is Us, and Californication. He even received an Emmy nomination, while his recordings on their own have attracted fans and earned critical accolades, including from NPR’s All Songs Considered.
