How does one label Weird Al Yankovic? He’s not strictly parody because he’s been writing original tracks for decades. He’s not strictly polka because of his rock songs and covers but not really rock because of his polkas. In truth, Weird Al is just that: weird. For over four decades he has been unapologetically himself, whether it’s making people laugh with his parodies, supplying them with underground cinematic cult favorites like UHF and Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, or keeping everyone entertained with his original tracks. There’s one thing for sure, his show is spectacular and not to be missed. Especially when he’s on the road with Puddles Pity Party.
