10. Bruce Sterling Is in Town
Along with William Gibson and our own Rudy Rucker, Bruce Sterling is a stalwart of cyberpunk lit. His major works include Involution Ocean, Islands in the Net and The Difference Engine (co-written with Gibson). In the real world, so to speak, Sterling has championed an initiative to yoke high tech to environmentally sound design. He is the perfect choice to deliver the keynote address at a panel discussion with the curators of ZERO1.
