4. Metro Is Part of the Action
While lounging in Gore Park (see Reason #3), be sure to stop by Metro, where artist Pierce Warnecke has contributed a video work in the foyer called Used News. Visitors can play with printed copies of the paper using a microscope camera to create super-closeup collages of stories past. The results will be converted into a ceiling projection using stop-motion-animation software. It promises to be better (and certainly quicker) than an old-fashioned clipping file.
