Portland-raised rapper, songwriter and artist Aminé headlines Stanford’s Frost Music & Arts Festival this Saturday. The 28-year-old scored millions of streams with hits like the bouncy “Caroline” and “REEL IT IN,” a serene song about raking in cash. Readers might also recognize “Invincible” from the Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack, or his work with Kehlani, Young Thug and Vince Staples. With him at Frost Fest is Victoria Monét, from Sacramento, a singer and producer who writes smooth R&B and hip hop music and has collaborated with Ariana Grande, Diddy and others. The great Tkay Maidza will also share the stage.
