The Doobie Brothers Return to Their Hometown

San Jose’s greatest musical export, Los Doobies Hermanos, spent half a century creating an output that is now a preserved-in-amber piece of musical history. They have continued releasing albums, most recently 2021’s Liberté, but a planned 50th anniversary tour was put on hold due to the pandemic. The Doobies are back on the road now, touring with Michael McDonald for the first time in 25 years and hitting their old hometown armed with a quiver full of some of the most classic songs ever recorded.
