This Friday’s show at Chromatic Coffee is a deceptively powerful lineup with a harmonious mix of stripped down emo, punchy rock, shoegaze pop and everything in between. The show will feature Santa Cruz-by-way-of-LA band Career Woman, local favorites Star 99, New England rocker Edward Glen and the charming Oakland-based Little Low. On recent single “Jupiter,” Career Woman remain tightly wound while promising a “whole lot of love” and a “whole lot of fear.” The most recent offering from local promoter Heavy Lemon, this show includes plenty of notable Bay up and comers to watch.
