Botticelli Drawings in Palo Alto

The Legion of Honor presents the first-ever major exhibition dedicated to Renaissance maestro Sandro Botticelli’s drawings, featuring 27 rare sketches, nearly 60 masterpieces and five newly attributed drawings. Attendees can experience the delicate elegance of Botticelli’s design process (with loans from prestigious international institutions) and unearth five centuries of paper-based art featuring Michelangelo, Warhol, Picasso, Asawa, and Gauguin at Drawing the Line: Michelangelo to Asawa, showing simultaneously at the museum. People will get to delve into the timeless beauty of Botticelli’s drawings and more during this enriching day trip, including round-trip transportation and admission.
