San Francisco-based video production company Insomnia Productions cohosts a recital with Andy Hong, first-place winner of The Voice of China’s American category. Her Saratoga-based Wow Vocal Studio attracts students from all over the Bay Area. This Friday, 22 students will perform various songs by famous pop artists in China, including several duets. Asked why they are hosting this event as a three-year-old creative startup company, Insomnia Productions’ founder Ocean Lin explains that artistic talent is abundant, but platforms are not so much.
