There aren’t many Christian metalcore bands left that survived the early and mid-2000s, but Demon Hunter has seemed to beat all the odds. Even after supporting military members wearing their patches while conducting missions (although they claim they never gave the military permission to use their music). The band was founded in 2000 by brothers Don and Ryan Clark and initially based their identities in obscurity, hiding their faces in promotion photos without a gimmick like later bands such as Ghost. However, they quickly abandoned that idea. Today, Ryan is the only original member but he continues to push Demon Hunter into the 21st Century without abandoning the sound they’ve embraced for 25 years.
