Playwright Dipika Guha’s 2017 satirical play, Yoga Play, follows the CEO and employees of a yoga apparel company and explores such themes as the commercialization and appropriation of health and wellness and Asian-American culture. Born in India and based in L.A., Guha is a former fellow at Harvard University and has written for TV shows, including The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Black Monday, Sneaky Pete and American Gods. This production at the Los Altos Stage Company is directed by Gary Landis and features actors Joshua Bao, Kartic Bhargav, Chris Mahle, Jaime Melendez and Kristin Walter. Goes until Feb 15.
