Called one of the “artists to watch” by American Songwriter, Wellington Bullings is a tour de force, taking the vocal world by storm. Her debut album, Because I Want To, was released by the Berklee College of Music and dropped in 2020 to critical acclaim from the jazz and soul world alike. She uses her gifts of singing and songwriting to tell the stories of people like her. Single “Flame” is about black excellence and positive black experiences in a world wrought with racism and excessive police violence. Fans and critics alike are eagerly awaiting her sophomore album, which is set to be released sometime later this year.
