Launched in Goleta, CA in 1995, third-wave ska punk outfit Mad Caddies combine traditional ska textures with a dazzling array of other musical flavors. Their inventive grab-bag approach draws from sources both expected (reggae, rockabilly) and left-field (Latin, polka, swing jazz). The group debuted on record with 1997’s Quality Soft Core; their most recent release, 2024’s Arrows Room 117, is the band’s ninth long player. Over the course of 30-plus years, Mad Caddies have seen nearly 20 musicians come and go. The all-new six-piece lineup, led by founder, singer, guitarist and mainstay Chuck Robertson, has been together since 2023.
