What started as a pre-Broadway show in New York City in 2015, Come From Away became a Broadway and then a national hit. Anyone old enough to remember September 11, 2001 might recall that 38 planes were rerouted from landing in America. 7,000 people ended up in Newfoundland. This is a musical about strangers stuck in the middle of nowhere during a completely uncertain time, finding friendship. TheatreWorks brings this production that inspires hope under the guidance of Artistic Director Emeritus Robert Kelley. An evening about finding common ground. Goes until May 10.
