Kill Tony is a powerhouse comedy influencer. Combining the meaner parts of Howard Stern with a cattle call in Austin, Texas, while having it be a podcast, that’s the general idea. Silver lining is that comedians with disabilities, who don’t get access to bigger stages, find a platform amongst the rogue gallery of comics who punch down for fun. Ahren Belisle has cerebral palsy, and Fiona Cauley lives with Friedreich’s Ataxia. And that’s just a fact. The bigger truth is that Belisle and Cauley are hilarious. Belisle is a mental health advocate and aims for positivity, while Cauley’s comedy lives in darker corners.
