Celebrate Juneteenth the right way this year, with Santa Clara County’s 42nd Juneteenth Homecoming celebration. Headlining this year’s event will be R&B singer K. Michelle, from Memphis, Tenn., widely known for her role as cast member on two seasons of the hit show Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. Lena Byrd Miles, also known as “the Darling of the Oakland Bay Area,” meanwhile, headlines in the gospel category. Singing since she was only four years old, Miles has fully earned her nickname. This day-long event will also have many other speakers and performers sure make this year’s Juneteenth an unforgettable one.
