Though his current solo project is relatively new, Grammy Award-winning producer Charlie Bereal is already a music industry giant. He has performed with and written for gospel, hip-hop, and R&B legends like Jay-Z, Missy Elliott, Aaliyah, Snoop Dogg, Raphael Saadiq, Usher and Whitney Houston, to name just a few. As a multi-instrumentalist and composer, he leans toward guitar-based, soulful, upbeat sounds with lyrical openness and smooth tones. His 2020 single “Walk the Streets of Love” became an instant fan-favorite, and his latest, “Get Down,” has the funk-infused energy of an innovator just getting started.
