This Friday is the 11th annual Desi Comedy Fest, which celebrates South Asian culture while giving all in attendance a place to laugh and love. This year’s lineup features comedians from New York (Ali Mehedi and Bassam Shawl), across California (Aurora Singh from Sacramento and Nitish Sakhuja from Los Angeles), and right here in the Bay Area (Bhavya Shah from Stanford and Vivek Venugopal from San Francisco). And for those who can’t make it on Friday, the festival will also be at Cobb’s Comedy Club in San Francisco two days later.
