.Disney’s Musical The Lion King Held at San Jose CPA

It’s the circle of life—and it’s coming to a theater here in the Bay Area. This coming Wednesday, the long-running Disney musical The Lion King begins its three-week run at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts. The play—the third longest-running show on Broadway—has had over 25 productions around the world, and been seen by over 100 million audience members worldwide. Based on Shakespeare’s Hamlet, the story stems from the 1994 Disney animated film—and while the film is nearly 30 years old, its age-old tale keeps winning award after award, with six Tonys to its name.
