Never before in the history of stand-up comedy have there been so many huge niche comedians, with their own army of fans. DoKnow, born Daniel Lopez in Los Angeles, is a comedian who torpedoed the glass ceiling by podcasting his relatable, laid-back way of looking at the world. This special show combines DoKnow with DaHawmies, whose self-named album in 2021 was a musical exploration of West Coast beats and roots. From viral videos to the stage, DoKnow might not have come up through comedy the old school way, but his new school knowledge is what people want to hear. There’s a show on April 3 also.
