Fully Committed is a comedic one-person show where that one person—Patrick Idleman—plays 40 characters. The story follows a day in the life of Sam Peliczowski, an out-of-work-actor/restaurant reservation line manager at a hot Manhattan eatery. A menagerie of aggressively comic characters barrages Sam with manipulations to get themselves the hottest ticket at the restaurant—the prime table. Sam has enough on his plate with an elderly father who wants him home for the holidays and a maybe-part in a show he’s trying to get into. What could possibly go wrong? The Santa Clara Players is a nonprofit theater group open to everyone in the community. Runs until June 2.
