Bay Area blues guitarist Gino Matteo debuted on record with 2007’s I’ve Been Thinkin’. He would follow up that release in 2013 with Sweet Revival, but it’s primarily as a live player that the young musician gained regional fame. Matteo’s untimely passing was met with a successful GoFundMe campaign, but expenses continue to weigh upon his family. This all-star memorial benefit will feature a long list of Matteo’s friends and peers, including Kid Andersen & the Greaseland All-Stars, Rick Estrin, Jim Pugh and many more. All proceeds benefit Jade Bennett, Matteo and Maria Matteo.
