Adam Met, bass player of the band AJR and a professor at Columbia University, discusses his new book, Amplify: How to Use the Power of Connection to Engage, Take Action, and Build a Better World. Met, who’s also co-founder of the climate research nonprofit Planet Reimagined, writes about how he uses his experiences as a musician to offer advice on getting involved in activism and social movements, including climate change, and interviews such talking heads as Bill Nye, Andrew Yang, Glenn Beck, Jim Gaffigan, Ben Folds and David Hogg.
