This free masterclass is a fantastic opportunity for percussionists and fans to learn from world-class drummers. The class is open to all levels of age and experience, from beginners to professionals and everything in between. February’s session is led by Dante Roberson, who’s performed with acts like En Vogue, the Whispers, Cameo, Stephanie Mills, and Tony! Toni! Tone! He recently released Caveat after many years as a writer, producer and session musician. It’s a clean-sounding and innovative album, flowing freely between funk, R&B, smooth jazz, pop and what SJZ calls “other innovative sounds that just make you feel good.” (LP)
