The Globo Cons and Art Boutiki go together like peanut butter and chocolate. The young men who comprise the San Jose-based power punk/progressive rock band completed a marathon recording session at the venue last April. They are coming together again for a live show, where they will debut “a ton of new material,” according to their Instagram. Metro writer Tad Malone called them “a very beautiful, effervescent type of indie pop/rock.” (LP)
