There’s dance music, there’s electronic music, and then there’s Rüfüs Du Sol. The group’s music is like a trip through other worlds and dimensions aboard a fuzzy blanket of vibes and harmony. Formed in the fall of 2010, the group (composed of Jon George, Tyrone Lindqvist, and James Hunt) quickly made inroads thanks to their singular yet familiar sound—part alternative, part electronic, and fully lush. Two years after forming, Rüfüs Du Sol released its debut album to critical acclaim and found itself at number one on the Australian charts. Since then, the band has released several more chart-topping albums and earned a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Recording.
