San Jose’s Asian Man Records and its lauded DIY purveyors, Heavy Lemon, bring the best of the label’s offerings to the South Bay. Opening the show is Bat Boy, a local band with a penchant for all things pop punk. They’ll share the stage with Pacing, another local band known for its confessional lyrics and antifolk harmonics. Both bands are opening for Teens in Trouble, a band that rocks out as much as makes the audience cry. Spearheaded by Lizzie Killian, Teens in Trouble has been featured in publications like Alternative Press, Stereogum and BrooklynVegan. Teens in Trouble are rising stars, having several singles featured in the immensely popular video game Fortnite.
