This weekend, San Jose’s Talky Tina will perform at Art Boutiki. Something of a local supergroup with members from bands like Parasites and Odd Numbers, Talky Tina has been pumping out fun, punchy power-pop punk since 2009. With two EPs plus an eponymous full-length release, Talky Tina has solidified its sound into something both familiar and refreshing in how it uses a punk foundation to explore different, compelling melodies.
