Tenacious D Rocks at Frost Amphitheatre

Music doesn’t always have to be serious. With the right band, you can laugh through amazing riffs while singing delightful lyrics. There’s perhaps no better band to achieve that than the American comedy rock duo Tenacious D—founded by actors Jack Black and Kyle Gass—who bring their 29-year discography to Frost Amphitheatre this Friday. The duo, also known as “The Greatest Band in the World / on Earth,” have made many fans throughout their storied career, raising songs like “Tribute” to near cult-like status. The pair have roped in other amazing musicians along the way (including Dave Grohl, Beck and Weezer), to deliver crafty, comedic tunes.
