For years Santa Cruz’s Warcorpse has been a leader in the death metal scene. Earlier this year, they dropped their latest EP, A Place of Torment, a spine-ripping four-song aural assault. Joining them are Bay Area death metal group Apraxia and San Jose’s own cold-blooded death sludge heshers, Reptilian Arms. Attendees should be prepared for lots of headbanging and to bring some extra cash for Warcorpse’s singer’s specialty hot sauce, which burns hard going in and out.
