Shengzen-born Zee Zee (Zhang Zuo) is an acclaimed classical pianist. Zee Zee has won several prestigious competitions, including the Juilliard School’s 2015 William Petschek Piano Recital Award. A performer since age eight, Zee Zee co-founded the Z.E.N. Trio in 2015. With violinist Esther Yoo, and cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan, she has released two albums. Centering on a theme of myths and folk tales, this solo performance will feature works by Maurice Ravel (Gaspard de la nuit and Ma mère l’Oye) plus selections from Franz Liszt’s Années de pèlerinage (Years of Pilgrimage). The latter also featured on Zee Zee’s latest solo release, 2025’s Liszt.
