I saw you, a skinny wisp of a woman, dressed professionally, clipping along hurriedly in high heels in downtown San Jose on a rainy, windy afternoon. You seemed eager to get someplace, as if late, or just wishing to get out of the cold. Suddenly, you paused, tossed off your coat, then continued onward, faster than before, your thin, expensive-looking suit getting drenched along with the rest of you. When we caught up to the place where you tossed your coat, we saw it wrapped about a homeless man who was shivering on the sidewalk. God bless you and those like you.
