The first cartoonist to win the National Book Award, Nate Powell is perhaps best known for his work on March. That graphic memoir trilogy chronicled the Civil Rights Movement—with words by Congressman John Lewis and illustrations by Powell. He comes to Wow Cool Alternative Comics on the heels of his latest solo work, Come Again, about an “intentional community” plagued by dark secrets and living in the Ozarks near the end of the free-loving 1970s. His other works include You Don’t Say, Any Empire and Swallow Me Whole.
