Twelfth Night at Lucie Stern Theater

Palo Alto Players are right on point for Pride month with one of William Slayyykspeare’s gayest plays (although let’s be real, they’re all gay): Twelfth Night. The Bard brought it all in this comedy: gender-bending, love quadrangles, mistaken identities and some brutal workplace pranking on a guy who deserves it. Iconic clown Feste (played by Caitlin Gjerdrum) doubles as the singer of the ensemble’s jazz band, in a playful riffing of the play’s music. Running through the 26th, Twelfth Night officially opens with a post-show toast on Saturday the 11th, with a Pick-Your-Price Preview Night this Friday.
