Legendary R&B vocalist Brian McKnight will be singing for the wine lovers of the Bay Area this Friday at Mountain Winery alongside Grammy-nominated singer Ruben Studdard. Studdard (who will be singing some of the work of Luther Vandross), reached his early fame after winning the second season of the reality TV singing competition American Idol in 2003. There, he first won public attention after performing Stevie Wonders’ “Ribbon in the Sky.” McKnight, meanwhile, needs little to no introduction, being one of America’s most compelling R&B vocalists and a towering songwriter.
