Local artist Nadia Iman floods Fuze Lounge with vibrant color and raw energy this Friday as she launches her exhibition Angels & Demons. She describes her bold digital imagery of ballerinas as “a series set to explore the lure of our pain and the honor in its defeat.” Iman’s fascination is not just with the beauty of the final product, but also with the pain involved in getting there. Aesthetically, she strives to communicate that one’s angels and demons are not always necessarily polar opposites.
