Inimitable artist and Santana singer-songwriter Tony Lindsay performs downtown this Friday night. Originally from Kingston, NY, Lindsay has been in the Bay Area since the ’80s, still performing today with his first band: Spangalang. Lindsay’s 2021 album Soul Soldier was recently named Album of the Year by national soul radio station Soul Cafe Radio. When the 11-time Grammy Awards winner isn’t touring with Santana and band at festivals and amphitheaters around the world, locals can often catch him performing the National Anthem at home games for the 49ers, Giants and the Sharks—or catch him performing his own music right here at Mama Kin.
