Oakland comedian Sammy Obeid is a sharp guy. The former math teacher manages to make the notoriously unsexy discipline seem, well, not sexy, but at least funny. But that’s not his only comedic subject (thankfully), discussing other punchline classics like gun control and drinking G.O.A.T. milk (“The Greatest of All Time milk, cow’s milk,” he jokes). When not on stage himself, Obeid also hosts the recurring KO Comedy event, a free Zoom-based comedy night which regularly features great up and coming comedians, like San Jose’s own Ato Walker and extended Heidecker-verse player Brent Weinbach.
