Time after time, this is one play that continues to inspire and delight. Based largely on the motion picture, this iteration of Kinky Boots by the City Lights Theater Company features red high-heeled boots, drag, love and, of course, Cyndi Lauper, whose music provides the soundscape behind it all. Kinky Boots is a heart-warming story of a family business and how a very unlikely pair came to save it and change themselves in the process. Proceeds for several of the showings support SV Pride and Theatre Bay Area’s Lemonade Fund. Show runs through August 20, with preview shows on Thursday and Friday.
