Though information online is scant on this San Francisco hardcore band, Vial of Tearz say enough musically with their brutal but infectious music. If the band was named in homage to the Megadeth song, it would make sense, as Vial of Tearz puts forth a deathcore-adjacent sound with sludgy metal riffs, great timing and absolutely pissed off vocals. Vial of Tearz is headlining in San Jose this weekend after releasing a sinister and compelling EP last year in Serrated Vision, a recommended listen for hardcore fans. At Orifice on Friday, the teardrop receptacles perform along with Game of Life, Burn Unit, Complex and Disposition.
