What better way to spend an evening than cackling alongside folks from across the comedy spectrum? For this year’s SF Comedy Competition, the last two nights of the semifinals take place at Saratoga’s Montalvo Arts, Sept. 12 & 13. The competition is an annual, multi-week and judged contest, with over 30 comedians vying for the grand title. Both nights at Montalvo will feature the same set of comics, taking their cues from award winners like Robin Williams, Dana Carvey and Patton Oswalt. Each set will be 8-12 minutes, with the final five performers moving into the finals, which will take place across the Bay Area.
