John Fogerty became famous in the late ’60s as leader, singer, guitarist and songwriter of Creedence Clearwater Revival. CCR has sold over 45 million records; the band’s timeless music remains a popular fixture of classic rock radio and playlists. Post-Creedence, Fogerty’s solo work, from his ’85 megahit Centerfield onward, embraces and builds upon the distinctive sound he had a significant role in creating.
