Guitarist Keola Beamer debuted with 1972’s Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar in the Real Old Style. Showcasing both traditional songs and contemporary pieces drawing from that style (and beyond), it set the scene for the Hawaiian contemporary musical movement. Today, Beamer (a celebrated instructor and touring artist) has a deep catalog featuring nearly 20 albums. Beamer is joined by his wife, Kumu Hula (hula master) Moanalani Beamer and versatile guitarist Jeff Peterson.
