Tucked away on Race St. right before it hits the Alameda, Art Boutiki, a hybrid store, cafe, and music venue, is one of San Jose’s most celebrated and enduring establishments. What better way to enjoy the venue than to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of its owners, Dan and Michelle? Their hallowed building has been around for a long time, but the owner’s marriage has been around even longer. To help commemorate the special occasion, the event will feature part-time house band The Sick Ones playing grooves and keeping the vibe immaculate. In the spirit of giving, the show is free, but generous orders of food and beer are encouraged. They have to keep the lights on, after all.
