Last year, local DIY/punk/indie production company Heavy Lemon came up with the best concept for a show ever. A lineup of only brand-new bands, all playing their first show ever. Every band gets 15 minutes; all genres of music welcome. A mini-festival of absolutely fresh, brand spanking new groups. This brilliant concept of a show is back, dubbed “New Band New Year 2026.” The best part is that even though the formula is the same, the show will no doubt be completely different and filled with lots of new surprises. A show filled with magic.
