Vitamin String Quartet (VSQ) started in 1999 as an experiment to take popular rock and roll and give it a string treatment. Members have rotated over the years, with violinist Tom Tally anchoring over fifty albums, but the tour is always subject to change and additions. A true oddity, VSQ was played nonstop for two years on an East Coast radio station. VSQ takes on everything from Billie Eilish to Danny Elfman and Taylor Swift to Iron Maiden. It is everyone’s favorite songs reinvented by a string quartet with all the embellishment of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. In 2025, VSQ put out four albums, including VSQ Performs KPop Demon Hunters. Eccentric and jaw-dropping.
