Ballet narratives can seem dense, but the World Ballet Company’s version of Cinderella will be immediately familiar. The tale of Cinderella is thousands of years old, with origins stretching back through 17th century France, to 9th century China and to BC Egypt. The story of a step-family member treated cruelly, who dreams of a bigger life, and achieves it, speaks to everyone who still dreams. Featuring 40 international dancers, dazzling hand-sewn costumes, and magical sets. Marina Kesler designed the choreography and has traveled the world teaching and winning awards for her visionary ideas in movement and flow.
