Sometimes the biggest legends are the ones that people who fly under the radar of mainstream culture. The Untouchables are one of those bands. They were one of the first American bands to pick up the mod and ska revival of the 1980s and paved the way for a cornucopia of now-famous artists: No Doubt, Operation Ivy, Rancid, Sublime, Reel Big Fish, and many, many more all pay tribute to The Untouchables as inspiration for their music. Their cool, clean soul by way of ska defies anyone listening not to dance. Plus, they’re joined by Santa Cruz’s northern soul act, The Inciters, meaning a double whammy of good times.
