Back to the Future is one of the few movies that’s inspired both a musical and a theme park ride. Based on the classic 1985 film about time-traveling high school student Marty McFly and his scientist-friend, Doc Brown, the stage adaptation, which debuted in 2020, was nominated for two Tony awards and incorporates composer Alan Silvestri’s memorable score, as well as music by Glen Ballard and Huey Lewis and the News’s songs, “Back in Time” and “The Power of Love.” Directed by John Rando, this touring production stars actors Lucas Hallauer and David Josefsberg. Performances go until June 7.
