This Album is on point, lyrically. At times it’s hard to believe the lyrics are coming from the mouth of a teenager. It’s half golden era hip and half new school rap. Joey BadA$$ spits that conscious 90’s NY vibe, taking me back to when I fell in love with hip hop. Most NY rappers that got shine in 2013 had a down South or trap sound, It’s refreshing to see a younger generation paying homage to the genre’s roots. Take a road trip and throw this on.
